LIVING WITH BRONZE
If you're contemplating adding a bronze jewelry to your collection, please mind that bronze is by no means as consistent as gold or silver. Aging of bronze will occur quickly with contact with your skin, parfume, moist air etc. Patina on bronze is surface oxidization and it's creating an outer layer on the surface of bronze item rather than eating away like rust on metal.
There are three schools of treating bronze. The first one is to let it age naturally and gracefully and observe the process. The second: to force the patina (you can find a lot of tricks on the Internet) and the third one: to stop (to a certain extend) the bronze from aging. I would recommend silver cleaning cloth for the beginning and cleaning the jewelry very often, obligatory after wearing it.
