What started as a custom project for a Firefighter client, became a full fledged saga of mythic artifact creation.
From the very beginning, Bane of Surtr was intended to serve a very personal purpose: to ward off the flames. During the delicate process of its creation, the wax was destroyed many times, fighting against the heat of the furnace. When it was finally cast and completed, a series of close-call incidents involving fire were luckily avoided by our friends and family.
From that day on, Bane of Surtr is worn by the Barbariann team as an amulet of fire protection.

Bane of Surtr takes its shape from classical Repton style hammers, and the story of its creation, wrestling with the fires of the forge, has imbued it with protective force, guarding the wearer from the harms of flames.

Equipped with a large eyelet to fit hefty chains or leather cords, Bane of Surtr is the perfect statement jewellery piece.
