We are Barbariann.

Barbariann Jewelry started as a passion project. Inspired by medieval jewelry and historical reenactment. Anna, the founder, draws inspiration from museum collections, history books and archeological finds of medieval Viking, Slav and other ancient European cultures. Since 2014, Anna has been the sole creator, designer, sculptor, quality control, customer service, and optimist at Barbariann, singlehandedly making Barbariann one of the most distinguished jewelry brands on Etsy.
As Barbariann grew, so did the team that now consists of Anna - founder and main creator, Bella - creative advisor, as well as production aids and local content creators.

Even though Barbariann is growing, all of the research, design, sculpting and production is done in house, in our workshop in Poland, from start to the very finish when we personally close the envelopes with each and every order, before sending them on their way to you.

The Jewelry

Our jewelry collections range from historical replicas, to modern designs inspired by the past and designed to fit modern needs and sensibilities. All of our historical replicas are referenced to the original finds, and represent refined and elegant renditions of the museum originals. Our modern range represents our vision of high quality, designer jewelry that merges ancient motifs and symbols, in a sleek, contemporary form.

Our artistic vision takes it's ultimate shape in our limited edition and one-off collection, where each piece is given a unique character and gives the wearer the pure experience of wearing a bespoke piece of jewelry, fit for modern vikings, heroes and adventurers.
